Review content:
Doesn't everyone say they are going to save more money this year? Not spend so much on the things we need.
Well this store is a great way to do that.
http://www.savealot.com/
I often bypassed this store due to the name- But then I went in and was amazed at the selection and quality of the products they carry. OK so the decor isn't as nice as our local Tops markets- but the quality of the food looks just as good.
Save A Lot carries alot of name brand products as well as there store brand. I am usually a stickler on name brand items- Like campbells soup, Kellogg's cereal, etc. I must admit that I don't buy the off brand soup here still-- but I have bought the generic cereal- and it is just as good- but for half the price! They also most times have Kellogg's brand cereals here too-- You do have to be careful though- they do not accept coupons and alot of times you can pick up cereal at Wal-Mart for cheaper than Save A Lot when using coupons.
They carry fresh fruit and veggies- I have boughten these several times and have never had any problems- And let me tell you they sell them for less than half of what Tops does. They also have a butcher and a fresh meat department- I have purchased several things here... they sell my favorite hot dogs- Zwiegles.. way cheaper than Tops.
They also sell paper products, animal food, milk, frozen foods, snacks, cleaning supplies, etc. You name it they have it for less- So you really Save A Lot!
Why not check out your local Save A Lot- You will be surprised. If I can cut my shopping bill in half and still get great quality food- I'm all for it!
