Review content:
Moore Brothers Wine Company is new to the NYC area. They have a couple other stores in DE and NJ, but a few months ago opened their NY location. Moore Brothers works with a select group of wineries in Germany, France, Spain and the US. Their small selection allows them to really know the wine, they work directly with the wine makers and visit them on a regular basis to make sure quality is maintained. The staff members really know their stuff, and can make recommendations of particular wines based on what you are planning to serve. They don't pressure you to by the most expensive bottle either. Delivery is available and you can also order online. They have a tasting area in the back of the store so you can try before you buy, and upstairs is their events space where they do larger tastings, often with the wine maker himself present to answer questions. A really unique aspect of this store is that they have a play area for kids! Coloring books, toys, etc. so mom and dad can shop while the kids play. The wine is boxed up in nice carrying cases, so you can go strait from store to party without having to worry about a gift bag. They offer special collections of 6 or 12 bottles of their best wines if you're looking for a spectacular gift for the wine connoisseur on your list. I will definitely visit Moore Brothers again for all my wine needs! Here is their http://www.wineaccess.com/splash/moorebrothers/
