Businiess name:  Mr Villa's
Review by:  Eric F.
Review content:
I've been living in North Seattle for years and I've always wondered why there was no great little neighborhood Mexican food joint. For some reason, Mr. Villa's sat there untried by me for a long time. A friend and I hit the place the other night for her birthday and I thought it was quite tasty and authentic. I had a combo enchilada plate with one chicken and one shredded beef. While both were good and covered in a baked dark red sauce, the shredded beef was outstanding. My friend ordered the Chile Verde and was quite impressed as well. The service was attentive and friendly. There were two thing I felt knocked 1 star off of this neighborhood find: 1) I felt the prices on the menu were all 1 - 2 dollars high per plate. Everything felt a bit expensive for the ambience being provided. 2) While the interior is painted and updated, they were playing international dance music the night we went. It did not feel right for the neighborhood or the cuisine.
