Businiess name:  Denny's

We decided to give this Denny's a try again. Guess what? Well, you can see by my rating that I am NOT pleased... yet again! I ordered the Steakhouse Strip and Eggs breakfast meal. I asked if I could sub. the toast for pancakes and she said I could but that I would only get one pancake. I knew hubby would want to share them so instead I ordered a side of pancakes. I asked for my steak to be medium/medium-well, eggs over medium, rye toast and extra butter with the pancakes... oh yeah, and country fried potatoes instead of home fries. Hubby ordered the same meal... steak and eggs cooked the same as mine, wheat toast and home fries. When the food came I saw a puddle of blood on my steak (EWW). So, my steak was NOT how I ordered it, luckily hubby doesn't mind it that way so we just switched steaks. I started to cut up my eggs eagerly ready to dip my rye toast in it only to find that the eggs were not over medium they were more like over easy. I will NOT eat eggs where the white is not cooked! I scraped the eggs off of my plate onto another plate and then also found that the blood from the orig. steak was all over my plate infecting the rest of my food so I spooned that on the plate with the eggs. Many of my potatoes were now also soaked with blood. Both my husband and I tried to wave the waitress down (several times when she was at a table right near us or when she was literally walking right by our table) and we were flat out ignored. Finally when she did make her way over I let her know the trouble with my eggs and she said she would have them make them over. We never did see those eggs... which also made the toast go to waste. I did try to see if the toast was still okay to eat but it wasn't... it was cold and barely toasted yet kinda soggy.. weird! This waitress is lucky she got a tip but she didn't get much. I took 20% and then took out the cost of eggs and toast.. the amount that was left is what she got for a tip! This meal actually cost MORE then what we paid a few nights earlier for Mahi and Chicken dinners at a quality restaurant. Look for my post to come soon on Bonefish Mac's.
