If you're ever in Northern California and looking for a lake setting to spend a day or weekend Lake Francis Resort is your best bet. Located in Dobbins,CA it not only has campsites but also cabins for rent and RV parking. Prices are moderate compared to most lakeside resorts. They also have paddleboats and canoes for rent. If you're looking to only go for the day then you can hit one of the many free beaches alongside the lake which also have tables,benches, and BBQ pits. Lots of catfish,bass, and crappie are waiting for you if you like to fish. No motorized boats are allowed in this small lake so you can enjoy a great day with just the sounds of nature.
