Review content:
Located in beautiful Minocqua, Wisconsin.
This is a neat place to eat and it's served family style.
My husband and I thought we would try this place out when we were in Minocqua on vacation.
Not a hard place to find. Just look for Paul Bunyan and Babe his ox standing outside of the place.
As you walk in, you can't help but look at every nifty item they have on the walls of the shanty looking room. I was a bit nervous at the fact I was sitting under a huge hanging sleigh.
The servers could have been a bit more cheery, but these kids are working for tips and each table had a card on it to tip them well because that is pretty much their pay.
The food is pretty good and if you want more they will bring you another bowl or plate of what you need.
We did the all you can eat breakfast, and it had everything. Homemade buttermilk donuts, scrambled eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, bacon, ham and fried potatoes.
We were stuffed and had to move around so we checked out their neat little gift shop.
I hope to go back there again.
