Businiess name:  Salty's On Alki Ctrng & Bnqts
Review by:  Michelle Q.
Review content:
It was our 14-year wedding anniversary yesterday so we sent the kids to daycare (muah hahaha) and spent the day together, just the two of us! We walked along Alki Beach and then had lunch at Salty's. I had never been to Salty's before. When we called to make the reservations they automatically asked if it was for a special occasion. My husband said it was our anniversary. We were seated at a corner table with a view that couldn't be beat. There were two balloons at our table to signify that it was a special event. We got the soft shell crab for an appetizer. It was good - I had not had soft shell crab before. I really liked the fried pickles that were served with it. I had the alder wood smoked salmon with garlic mashed potatoes, which was kind of run-of-the-mill. My husband got the captain's platter which is a big ol' plate of fried stuff. The best part of all was the free dessert that they gave us in honor of our anniversary. It was a white chocolate mousse cake and it was delicious. Bottom line is the food is a little pricey and not spectacular, the view is AMAZING and the dessert melts in your mouth.
