We went here for our honeymoon 5 years ago and we loved it! It is an all inclusive resort and has a ton of stuff to do! They have 4 resorts that are all very close together. We stayed at Paradise stream but we did check out each of the resorts. When you stay at one - you can "play" at all 4 - which is nice because only one had a golf course, 1 had a lake, etc.
Brookdale is the 1 resort that allows kids - so if you want a couples only resort - don't stay here.
I think if we went again - I would probably pick Cove Haven.
There were a ton of different room options - ours had a whirlpool (the champange glass one in the pictures), a pool, one or 2 fireplaces, tvs, a sauna, massage table, and a fridge. It was very nice.
The all-inclusive rate includes:
- Breakfast
- Appetizers (mid-afternoon)
- Dinner
- Nightly entertainment (singers, comedians, magicians, and other acts - sometimes with big name entertainers!)
- Planned activities (there was a pool tournament and some other games there when we stayed)
- Everything else they have to offer - paddle boats, bocce ball, basketball, roller skating, fishing, hiking, etc - check out http://www.caesarspoconoresorts.com/all_inclusive/keyaround.aspx for all the amenities)
You can sign up online to be notified via e-mail of special rates. If you are staying for a honeymoon - they do provide you with a few extras (http://www.caesarspoconoresorts.com/rates/specials/specialhoneymoonpackages.aspx).
I highly recommend Caesar's Pocono Resorts! When we were there - many of the other couples were regulars - so that shows you that I am not the only one :)
