Businiess name:  Dr. Wax
Review by:  Samuel S.
Review content:
Collegiate music fans proceed with caution -- this clatter-bang showroom steps from the Berwyn El just might suck your Jimmy John's paycheck dry. Not to say that Dr. Wax is overpriced -- it's just that you'll find everything you'd ever want, down to music's deep dark secrets. (It's the only place where I found a healthy Tzadik section -- said the clerk, "Only musicians get this stuff.") I don't need to tell you that Wax packs wax -- racks and racks of wax, in fact, for those of the vinyl persuasion. Discounts are available for frequent buyers -- come in and you'll find yourself on the fast track to that bonus that comes with buying $150 worth of music. The place feels right at home. A poster-plastered front door leads to a plain, broken-in showroom. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and a record is always spinning. Also, they buy music -- get cash back for your wack wax stack. I'm done. Really. Dr. Wax will always be in my and Wesley Willis's heart. Soon enough, you won't care that you spend all your money there. Oh well -- people will never stop wanting subs so fast they'll freak.
