Businiess name:  Home Instead Senior Care

Review content:
My grandmother needed care and extra help around her home so we hired Home Instead Senior Care after the representative said they could do everything that was needed to be done with meals, meds, cleaning, shopping and the like. The caregivers that the office sent over were not trained as was promised by the rep who said this was the reason the costs for their services were so high. We were paying Home Instead Senior Care considerably high hourly rates since this company boasts how they screen, train and pay the caregivers, but we were so shocked to later learn what little amount of training was given and how very little hourly wages the company actually paid the caregivers. We had so many caregivers come and go and found out they all quit the company. We finally figured out why this kept happening. These caregivers barely make a living on what they were paid! Our family decided we didn't want to work with a company that didn't pay their employees very well. My grandma's care was not of sny quality. We canceled services and found another company that the hospital and dr. recommended that had fully trained employees. This other company tookmuch better care in paying their employees well and we ended up paying considerably less per hour to the new company we went with and grandma is well taken care of and happy and she loves her caregivers!
