Review content:
The Grymes Hill area is beautiful. It reaches high above the SI Expressway and Victory Blvd. There are beautiful homes and they are obviously of the wealthy. However, the tenants at Grymes Hill Apartments seem to be either college kids or the elderly. The older people seemed to have lived there forever. The college kids have no respect for anyone. They throw their keg parties on a regular basis, and not just on the weekends. I don't know how the older residents put up with them. Maintenance is decent but they won't fix something if you don't keep on top of them. They are slow to return a call. The heat isn't always there when you need it. The good things are that it is very affordable to live there, it is very convenient to the highway, mass transit and the newly rebuilding St. George area. It's also convenient to the 2 colleges in the area- St. John's and Wagner. If you're a young couple or a couple with kids, you will find a few tenants like you. But watch your kids. People drive like lunatics.
