I really dislike Toy's R Us. The aisles are too narrow and the carts are too big. I don't really mind the cart size, it just doesn't go with the aisle size. It's very difficult to maneuver around the store. Where the aisles are substantially wide, they usually have some huge display right in the middle, so you have to squeeze by on either side. When it comes time to check out, there are huge displays right in front of the entrance to the check out. You have to really make a tight turn to get down the check out lane with the giant carts. If there are 2 or more people in line, then you really have a problem because all the displays create less passing room, and it's like a log jam. I have never found the employees to be particularly helpful. One time I waited 45 minutes for a tricycle to be assembled. The store was practically empty and every time I asked how much longer I had to wait, I was not helped at all. I was going to complain about how they misprinted their opening time on the day after Thanksgiving and the one toy I went there for (because I dislike the store so much, I really shudder at the thought of even going in) was already sold out. But I'm going to let that one slide because evidently enough people got the right time to get there before me and so I guess I'll take that one. I was also going to complain about how it's nearly impossible to get my kids to leave the store, but that really says a little more about my kids than I'd like to at this point, although it's helpful when they don't put an inflatable ball pit right next to the exit.
