The first time I ever visited a Fantastic Sams I was very happy with the beauticians work she did on my hair. She gave me a great cut, shampoo extra but this cut and style was well worth her tip and the price of the cut.
The second time I went to get my hair cut I went back to Fantastic Sams, looking for the girl who cut my hair the first time. I guess she got hit by the revolving door because she know longer worked there so I had to take another beautician.
I described perfectly to this beautician how I wanted my hair cut and styled making sure to tell her that I did not want the top of my hair touching the ceiling otherwise known as the " Big Hair Texas Gal Look,"
This beautician did the total opposite of what I had asked her not to do and the cut she also gave me was horrible. She spent a better part of an hour teasing the top of my hair giving me that 50's-60's bouffant hairdo style and I was speechless when she got done.
I never went back to Fantastic Sams after that and I ended up going to another beautician to fix the mess this fantastic Sams Beautician did to my hair.
There was no tip for the Fantastic Sams Beautician that day.
I believe the chain is operating under a different name now at this address but the same people work there.
I don't recommend them working on your locks.
The price is high for the lack of work they do on your hair and make sure you are one of the first customers of the day if you do get your hair cut there because the beauticians aren't as tired as they are by 3pm.
