I am pretty picky about pancakes because I like them hot and crispy on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside. Most breakfast places serve pancakes that are slightly soggy. When I first heard of this place, i was skeptical. Their famous item is pancakes that are the size of a manhole. While I found that the pancakes were not that big, they were pretty big compared to ordinary pancakes. And amazingly, depiste the large surface area, they were crispy on the outside and fluffy and sweet on the inside. There are a variety of flavors. I tried the chocolate chip and enjoyed it. This place also has a vairety of different kind of fries, which i think is why it got the name it got. Someone at a neighboring table ordered ranch fries that looked very yummy and I will order them next time I go. This place is decently priced. A meal is probably about $10 after tax and tip. It is kinda small; my group sat outside. Definitely a nice place to try for breakfast.
