Review content:
I really like Mieko's in Lake City. The aerobic classes and elliptical machines are my drug of choice. I find the aerobic instructors as a group to mediocre, but every once in a while they have a really good instructor. As a former instructor, I admit to being hard to please. The ellipticals are rarely broken and I can jump on within 15 minutes during the busiest days.
I will admit the staff has changed since they opened. The original employees were very friendly and accommodating. I still get the obligatory greetings, but . . . you can tell it's not authentic. Oh well, I'm there to work out not to get into chats with the staff.
My husband likes the weight room. He prefers Mieko's over Bally's on Aurora.
