Review content:
Last year (2016) I had the nightmarish experience of having two cars in need of transmission work. I spent $7700 to repair my 2004 Honda Accord and 2006 Lexus SC430. I was told after fixing the Honda, that I'd get the Lexus done at the lowest cost he could charge me. It turned out later that the original price quote for the Lexus had to be bumped up because the computer also had to be replaced. AND the Accord ran fine but had a noise that suggested something wasn't quite right. They took the car back without hesitation or hassle and returned it to me in about a week. My Accord and Lexus have ran perfectly for almost a year later now. No noise. No problems. I gave the "total experience" question 4 stars, but really only because there's no way I could give 5 stars to an experience that cost me that much money. I'm just a guy with a job. Did I get a great value? How would I know? I'm no mechanic and the bottom line is I had to take their word for it. But I can say that I was able to feel like I could trust them that they weren't robbing me. I think the quality of their work is 5 star. And I would recommend Tramcar to anyone who needs transmission work. I don't know that they're the cheapest shop in town, but I think you can be pretty confident that your car's repair will be first rate.
