I called about a small crack on the bottom of my Asus Transformer tablets screen and how since the crack it was no longer responding to touch, but would work with the docked keyboard. They immediately said the digitizer needed to be replaced, they knew how to do it and could do it fast. I took it in there, made sure they knew I needed it for school. This was around January 11. They told me 3-5 days to get the part shipped in and replaced. After waiting a week they informed me they got the wrong part. Same story a couple weeks later. They then proceeded to tell me that the particular model of Transformer I owned had 4 different possible digitizers and no way to know except for it being printed on the back of the previously installed digitizer. The previously installed digitizer was shattered and destroyed when they first received it and were removing it. They tried ordering in different digitizers 1 at a time and none of them worked. At this point they told me I could come back and pick up my tablet and get my money back except for the cost of the digitizer. They would ""allow"" me to pick up my now more broken device and pay for a part they didn't even know if it would work or was the right part. My only option was to have them finish the job. They eventually ordered all 4 at the same time. Tried them all and none of them worked. Eventually one of the employees had the great idea to hook it up to a computer and do some diagnostics on it. Yes the digitizer did have a crack, but it was not the problem, I have seen many far worse cracks on tablet screens and the tablet still worked. It was a totally different part. They ordered in the new part and replaced it. I now had a tablet with a new digitizer (possibly not even the correct one) and another repair done. As I mentioned I dropped my tablet off around January 11, and picked up it up April 24. More than 3 months!! I was happy to have it back as I was leaving for Mexico on May 17 and wanted to take my tablet so I didn't need to lug my laptop all over. The new digitizer didn't even last that long. 2 inches of the top right corner broke off and went missing within 3 weeks. And I never even got to use my tablet, a very handy and familiar device, for that entire semester. Worst service ever. And they had the audacity to tell me they were doing me a favor as they had to spend money to buy the digitizers to fix it. They need to stick with tube TVs.
