Review content:
I took my dog into Perry Hall Animal Hospital for a mild case of arthritis and was prescribed Rimadyl. They called it a 'miracle drug'. It is a miracle that my dog is still alive. Eight days after he started taking it he became critically ill. I had to hospitalize him and the entire episode ended up costing me just short of $1,800.00 dollars. At no time was I informed of what could happen if he took this medication. Most upsetting was Perry Hall's unwillingness to take responsibility for what happened. When I contacted Dr. Kilmovitz to tell her that I thought they have an obligation to disclose the associated hazards of the medication she simply said she would 'talk' to the prescribing doctor, who was Dr. Brazil. They offered to reimburse me for the Rimadyl, which would not be worth the time it would take me to get it back to them. I will never go back to Perry Hall and strongly caution everyone considering taking their pets there.
