Review content:
I was once a loyal customer and was very pleased with Aqua Doc?s service at one time. Unfortunately, that has changed. I purchased a fountain through Aqua Doc and was told that it had a 2 year warranty. During the two year time frame the fountain quit working and Aqua Doc sent out a technician, Drew, to see what the problem was. Long story short, the fountain was pulled from the pond twice, misdiagnosed the first time and finally had to be shipped off to be diagnosed correctly. I paid $285 for labor for the misdiagnosis. I also paid for an electrician to come out and complete an analysis because I was told the problem was electrical. Once it was put back in the pond the final time, it came to my attention that the lights didn't work and that it was hooked up to a smaller breaker--one it had never been hooked up to before. I called Aqua Doc to request that someone come out to find out what was going on with the lighting, I never received a response. My maintenance man contacted Drew and was told that I would be contacted by the office. A week later I received an email explaining that I had to pay a $340 balance and sign a contract before any further work would be done. Mind you, the fountain was still under warranty for both incidents and I had already paid for the first incident where it was diagnosed incorrectly. I responded to the email asking for the owners contact information and the corporate office information and received no response. A week later I emailed again and forwarded the email I had sent the week before, the response I received was a horrible phone call from Beverly Shelly, the office manager at Aqua Doc. She not only refused to let me speak to the owner of the business, she further refused to give me his/her name or contact information as well as to give me the corporate office information that I requested. Beverly's tone was disrespectful and condescending from the start of the conversation. She essentially stated that my maintenance man and myself were liars due to the fact that it took us a couple of weeks to report that the lights did not work. This, of course, did not sit well with me because none of what I had said and been through was a lie. Neither myself nor the maintenance man reside on site and the light outage was not reported to us immediately. Once it was reported I contacted Aqua Doc the same day. When I told Beverly that I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau about the situation, she hung up on me. She not only refused to resolve my simple issue, but her behavior has made it to where I no longer want to do business with Aqua Doc again. This is unfortunate considering I purchased my fountain through Aqua Doc, have used them for all of my maintenance and had planned on using them going forward. Beverly Shelly has completely ruined that at this point. She is absolutely one of the rudest individuals I have dealt with in my professional experience. I would be ashamed to have an employee that behaves in the manner in which Beverly did. I have since retained the corporate office information and explained the extremely unprofessional way in which I was dealt with and spoken to. I can only hope that they record all calls and that they can hear how rude and disrespectful Beverly was to me. Stay away from this company if you expect good customer service.
