Businiess name:  Colorado Renaissance Festival
Review by:  Maureen S.
Review content:
With its jousting, Puke and Snot (if you don't know what that means, then you'll just have to attend next summer) and huge turkey legs, the Renaissance Festival is an annual tradition for my family. It just wouldn't be summer without a trip down to Larkspur to celebrate this event. Scores of characters in period dress (even the folks who don't work there!) make this a wonderful experience. Men in knickers and women in tightly laced up corsets and pointy damsel hats are all part of the fun. The shows are hilarious and plentiful and young girls will want to get their hair artfully braided. While it's a bit pricey, remember that it is a full day of entertainment and there are discount coupons to be had as well as specials offered. The jousting alone is worth the price of admission as the participants dual on horseback "to the death" (not really) in front of the cheering crowd.
