I have dealt with 2 different Abbey Carpet franchises over the years; one in San Jose, and the other in Menlo Park. The first one in Menlo Park installed a lot of carpet and flooring for me and they did a fine job at that. However, a seam in the carpet opened up, so I went and purchased the same material to fix it myself. In San Jose, they did some carpet work and I went back to the store in Menlo Park to have them heat weld it instead of using their old technique. I was still a bit annoyed about the first carpet coming apart, so I had to wait for my blood pressure to go down a bit, but overall the entire process was fine.
