My husband was sent to Seattle on a business trip, and decided to fly me to Seattle for the weekend to join him for our Anniversary (June 25). The 67 at the Edgewater had been recommended to my husband by Seattle clients, so we decided to trust their judgment. So glad we did! Our table was set for two as if they were expecting us. This was a nice touch and made us feel welcome. Upon greeting us, our server recognized our Anniversary immediately, and offered to bring us a glass of champagne to celebrate. This was amazing; we had only mentioned our Anniversary while making reservations, which clearly illustrated good flow of communication amongst the staff. We had several questions regarding the menu, which was a bit confusing. Our server quickly and easily explained the menu and assisted us in our selections. She recommended that we choose from the Chef's 'composed' entrees, and described the flavors as a 'symphony'. I agree wholeheartedly! I ordered the full Halibut, and my husband the Filet. OUTSTANDING flavor! Our server also recommended ordering a side dish to share, which was also amazing. Overall, service was flawless. Our needs were met before we had to ask (as if she read our minds). I felt the staff genuinely cared to make our Anniversary enjoyable, and they succeeded! Even as we left we were thanked and wished a 'Happy Anniversary'. The view was outstanding. We enjoyed the sailboat race right in front of the restaurant. Every table has a water view in this restaurant, and it is gorgeous! Thank you to all the staff at 67. Our anniversary was wonderful! I had a hectic day at the airports, freeway in Seattle, etc. You turned our day from Awreck to Amazing! Pros: Flavor, service, ambiance Cons: Slightly confusing menu
