And, believe me, I've been looking! The MAJOR strength of this bar is the fact that they, unlike so many bars in SoCal, realize that some of the best beers are found right here on the West Coast. They offer many different choices of beer from Oregon AND California. It's great. People write reviews about this place where they go ON AND ON about the Belgian beers that they have as well, those people need to try something a little more local, and they won't be disappointed. I?m glad they have so many choices from Oregon, a state that definitely has a LOT it can teach California when it comes to beer. The bar itself is small. The seating is a real pain, something they really should think about fixing. People loom over your shoulder staring you down in the hopes that you'll eventually give up your table to them. Nobody likes to feel rushed when they eating or drinking and hanging out. So, that's a major negative about the place. Also, it's very loud; you can't sit in a group much larger than 5 or 6 and still expect to hear what anybody is saying. The bar is way in the back and they make you get up and order each beer individually and buss it back yourself, which is annoying, due to the cramped-ness of the place, but their beer selection is good enough to allow them to make any rules they want. I had the fries that everyone was talking about, they are good. And they do come in a mini shopping cart, which is a cute touch. Overall this place is the best beer bar I've found in SoCal. It has SEVERAL inconveniences about it, but, again, nothing I've come across comes close. That includes the Library Alehouse and Yardhouse. Give this place a try, but go early on a weekday. I would NEVER even try to go there during the weekend! It's crazy enough on a Thursday night! It's worth the trip, but not convenient enough (in many ways) for me to become a regular. Pros: Great Beer Selection for SoCal, Good Fries Cons: WAY too crowded, Cramped Seating, Line to get in, No table service
