This is hands down the worst living arrangement I've ever experienced. On site managements only concern seems to be trying to find ways to evict people he doesn't like personally. He ignores Illinois covenant quiet enjoyment, included in every lease in Illinois whether written in or not due to a state law. This basically says notice must be given before your landlord may enter your home. So he frequently enters peoples apartments while they are not home, and in my case at 8:30pm while I was sleeping once, to search around for reason to fine resident at 300 dollars per offense. Part of the lease forces to to agree to a set of community policies that include a provision allowing them to change anything they want to change. He has also attempted to tow the cars of guests who showed up after office hours because the license plate wasn't registered and he knew they were visiting a resident he disliked. Cars of residents who have registered their cars have been towed, as well as had notices that if there were not registered they would be towed even though these cars where registered. There is also a case of one resident's mother receiving an email imploring her to not allow her child to move in with another resident because the property manager thinks this resident is dealing drugs. All in all if you don't mind have a landlord snoop through your apartment whenever he feels like it looking for any excuse to steal your money via fines, then this is the place for you.
