Dishonest and misleading,\r
I was stranded several hours away from my home when my car broke down. I called my insurance company who in turn recommended Minus Muffler to tow my car to a nearby garage. While speaking to one of their employees, she mentioned that they also have a mechanic who could work on my car, so I agreed to have them tow it to their shop and do the diagnostic work. To make my story short, these people charged me for repairs on my vehicle when the motor and transmission needed replacement. The car was not going to run without a new motor or transmission, yet they did unnecessary work on it. Then they told me what the main issue was regarding the motor and transmission. They repaired my car to make close to $200 in unnecessary repairs. Please steer clear from this business as they will rip you off and give you inaccurate information about your vehicle.
