Review content:
When Record and Tape Traders first opened a few years ago, I had high hopes for this local new/used music store. The store has a funky feel that reminds me a lot of the shop from the movie High Fidelity, and it's a fun place to browse. I think the main drawback is that prices aren't that great for used, and there's certainly no bargains on new cds. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, but they are most helpful with current artists. Don't ask about classical; I learned the hard way. Overall, I think store is trying a bit too hard to be "hip," but it's a welcome and convenient addition to Charles Village.
