Review content:
There isn't alot to do near Inverenss other than check out the gorgeous coast and beaches. Not that you shouldn't at least spend a day doing this if you have never been out here before. And Cowgirl Creamery in Point Reyes nearby makes some of the best cheese you will ever taste. Manka's is a cute, out-of-the-way getaway hotel/lodge. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly, and the lodging is vintage and well done. But I didn't realize it wasn't a regular hotel; it's more like a bed and breakfast that's really well done. There is no cell phone reception on the property, and there are no TVs or phones in the room. That was a shock - albeit preferable to many who go there with full knowledge that it's going to be like really really nice camping. The real fireplace, the lodge and surroundings were great. And they have one of those amazing stand-up english shower heads (you know, the ones that are mounted on the ceiling of the shower, look like a giant sunflower and the water flows like a river straight down on you).
