My wife was sent here for PT. She liked the therapist, he was quite good, the rest was a total disaster. My wife was told that although this place was a non-participating provider, they would accept the amount designated by my company. She started therapy, paying our co-pay for each visit. The office staff said they would submit all the necessary documentation. They lied. They did not get the necessary approval from my insurer but neglected to tell my wife. She continued to be treated without us knowing that they had not sent my insurer the necessary documentation. Two years later their office sent me a bill for $1,387. When I found out what happened I appealed twice to my insurer but they denied it because DC & R did not submit documentation for my wife's treatments in a timely manner. In talking to ownership I thought they would understand that this was their fault and that we should not be responsible. They didn't see it that way. We will never go to DC&R again, they were incompetent, rude to my wife, and were not willing accept that the mistake was theirs!
