Review content:
We had 3 children enrolled at La Petite. To say it was madness & mayhem would be an understatement. They claimed to have a cirriculum but the 3 months that my children were there, they never learned anything. A structured cirriculum was important to me. I think the center had good intentions but not enough staff to follow-through. I did not like that the floorplan of the Academy was very open and that they prevented the children's movement from one area to another by using bookcases as barriers. I'm not sure how the "teachers" kept track of all of the children as they seemed to just be running amuck, especially in the 5 and above room. The center was always very loud at naptime - I'm not sure how the children slept (mine sure didn't!). That said, they do offer full and part-time care, which is nice and they offer breakfast (at an extra fee) for children who are there in the mornings.
