Businiess name:  Tama Sushi

Review content:
I chose Tama based on the 5 star reviews on citysearch. At first I was very pleased, they took my reservation over the phone and were extremely professional and courteous. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and seated. Two gentlemen came over to our table to make sure we had our drink order in. So far so good. But then came the wait for the food. Not sure if he spotted me watching others sit and start eating or he was simply embarrassed, but our very kind waiter came over with an apology and a dish of edamame to keep our hunger at bay. Then the wait continued. I watched as a table who came in after us, stood up and left. Once again, the waiter with another apology, something I didn't quite understand about the sushi chef mixing up orders. More people around us finished their meals. Finally, the sushi arrived. The cuts were small and jagged. The fish was mediocre. It wasn't worth the wait & admittedly we might have been a little more critical as we waited for a while to get it, raising our expectations. So overall, friendly and considerate staff. Too long of a wait for the meal (please see other reviews on this matter too) and small cuts of 'okay' fish. You will be better served by making a reservation down the street at Sushi Katsu-ya where I had eaten a few weeks earlier and was very pleased (except for the crowds there - but now I know why they are packed and Tama is never quite full.) Pros: Easy - albeit paid - parking, friendly and professional staff, nice environment inside Cons: Long, long wait for food, small cuts of fish, obviously distracted sushi chefs
