My husband and I went to see her after a positive pregnancy test. I had never been to her before but my doctor in the same practice no longer delivers so I decided to try her out. Bad idea- she was horrible! From the beginning of the appointement we both felt she was very cold and unfriendly. She left the me laying on the table in the middle of the appointment to bring another doctor in without telling me what was going on. It looked like something was wrong but she and the doctor conferred, then he left, and she finished up without saying a word to us. When it was time to discuss everything with us she left us waiting in her office for an hour without any explanation. I finally tracked down her nurse who told me she went off to deilver someone's baby, which would have been ok had they told us. When she finally returned she spoke to my husband and I as if we didn't want the child and then lectured me on not eating ""for two"" just becuase I was pregnant (I am a small, athletic woman so I am not sure why I got the lecture). At the end of the appointment she finally addressed why she had brought the other doctor in, she plainly told me ""Oh and don't worry about all of this because you probably miscarried anyway"". What! She said the fetus was small for how far along we thought I might be but we actually didn't know since I had gotten pregnant right after stopping birth control.Just like that she shocked my husband and I and then the appointment was over. She said I needed a blood test but didn't really expalin anything. Her nurse, thankfully, was very sweet and expalined the blood test and what had just happened. I was almost in tears I was so upset about the news and the way it was delivered, cold-heartedly. After the blood tests confirming I was pregant I immedietly looked for another doctor. I am happy to say that I had a healthy baby girl with no complicaitons and a wonderful different doctor throughout the process. My husband and I still couldn't believe how mean and horrible an OB could be - no one should ever leave an appointment feeling as we did.
