Review content:
Last summer I decided to get serious about losing weight. I did two important things to make it happen: first, at the gym they told me that 80% of weight loss is getting right with your diet- which means changing your eating habits. I knew that I did not have the willpower to do that on my own- so in August I went to see a Hypnotist- Andrew McCole at Lonestar Hypnosis. I did six sessions with him and I tell you- it really works! The hypnosis helped me get my mind on board with my weight loss goals and allowed me to change my eating habits without a fight. Thanks to hypnosis I quit soda cold turkey after a 30 year habit with no withdrawals. It was awesome! So, after I got my eating habits going in the right direction, the second thing I had to do was workout to burn off the fat. Here I am eight months later and 50lbs lighter. I'm thrilled with my results. It took a lot of hard work and sweat, but I couldn't have done it with changing my eating habits threw hypnosis. I was always interested in that kind of thing, and I just decided to take a chance after reading the entire Lonestar Hypnosis website. And I've been very happy with the results. Andrew does work out of his home, so I met him in his home office for the first five sessions, about an hour long each. He was very professional and made the whole experience pleasant. I signed up for the weight loss package of six sessions. He's really flexible about appointment times and even saw me on a Saturday. The total cost was a little over $600- but I justified it to myself that's about the same price as getting 6 hour long massages, but the hypnosis has much longer lasting positive effects. It was all very easy. We just talked about my issues with food and stress and difficulty with weight loss, then he tailored each session to me. The hypnosis itself is only 15 to 20 mins long. Very relaxing. You're awake the whole time and remember everything. Andrew also makes a recording of the session and sends you the MP3 of it so you can relisten to it over again. I went to about one session per week at his home office, but you can also do them over the phone and he send you the hypnosis recording later to listen to. Then I took about two months and went to work my butt off (literally). You still have to sweat and work to get the weight off- but the hypnosis made me really like exercise, and I never did before. After I had made some progress and lost some weight, I had my last session over the phone and Andrew helped wrap up any outstanding issues I was still having in one last hypnosis session. It was great. I still have all my MP3's of my sessions and I still listen to them a few times a week to keep myself motivated and moving in the right direction.
