Review content:
DO NOT FALL FOR FREE INITIAL VISIT COUPON! I went for the first time to VCA with a coupon in hand (for an annual wellness check for my two year old BT) and ended up with a $500 bill! Although kind, the vet wanted to run endless tests on my "bright eyed, happy guy"--- they took skin scrapings, glaucoma and eye fluid tests, an entire panel of blood, urine, fecal tests---all came out negative (surprise!) They also scared me into giving my dog heartworm meds---within twelve hours, my dog had uncontrollable watery bowel movements and lameness in his hind legs! I brought him back to VCA, where I saw another doctor and was told that it was not an allergic reaction to the meds. It was a most likely an orthopedic issue, perhaps a slipped disk... he would need to take more diagnostic tests, xrays, etc. I took my dog and RAN! The next day, my dog started to walk on his hind legs and seems back to his spunky self (diarreah has still not cleared up.) My suggestion, be cautious of this place
