I have used pinebrook kennel a few times and I was extremely disappointed the last visit with my yellow lab. First off we were greeted by the owner chris, who clearly was waiting for us and seemed to be bothered that it was 5:30pm. The drop off times are between 4-6 so we weren't late. Upon entering, the first thing chris said was "What is that on her back", I told her what it was and she then proceeded to tell me that she was allergic to flea prevention and to please not put it on my dog when bringing her to the kennel! I simply replied with "I don't want her to get fleas", She replied with "I don't have fleas here". Now while the kennel appears clean, any dog owner knows, whenever you have dogs there is always a chance there are fleas, especially if you are not using prevention! I didn't appreciate her condescending tone and demands. When we picked Molly up, she had a scab on her nose from shoving it thought the kennel and a huge open area on her leg.
