My '99 Chevy Blazer broke down 100 yards from these guys so I pushed the car to them and asked them to look at it. They discovered the problem was a fuel pump and gave me a quote. I found it hard to believe that a fuel pump could cost what they quoted me so I called my regular mechanic on Rainer Ave. (just south of I-90) and asked them what they would charge. I ended up having my Car towed by my regular mechanic several miles away and with the towing cost included and paying the diagnostic charge at good year I still saved $200 by having my trusted mechanic do it. Yes it is an expensive part but they were flat out trying to rip me off by several hundred dollars. It was fun to tell Good Year how much money I was saving by having it towed out of their lot and done by a fair mechanic. But the kicker was after I told them that they said they would match the price...So they basically admitted that they added at least $400 profit on top of an $800 (2 hr) job.I told them no way and that I was
