I highly recommend Dr. Matu at Universary Veterinary Hospital. He is very experienced - not one of the "new graduate" types, but absolutely current with an amazing ability to diagnose even the most complicated situations.  I trust him with our cat and dog "family members" in the same way I trust my own doctors. He is open to hear what we say and is a good listener who combines what we tell him with his clinical observations and knowledge.  \r I've seen many Vets and vet facilities as we've lived around the state and country. Some more high tech, some that specialize in surgery or other things, and it sometimes feels like when you go there every problem looks like a "nail" and whatever their specialty - the right "hammer".  Not so at University Veterinary Hospital. They have the emergency diagnostic tools to get answers "right now" when time really counts, but this is truly a Family Practice, so your bill isn't loaded with  the high overhead costs of, for example, a surgical specialt
