IN MY OPINION, THEY KILLED MY DOG. BEWARE; READ BEWARE.... We should have listened when we were advised against taking our pets to Beverly Oaks by animal rescuers.But it was after midnight, they were close and open. Our tiny dog had been attacked by an owl or other wild animal. Upon arrival, getting a credit card was the priority as we waited 20 minutes before they disappeared in the back with her. We waited over an hour in the lobby then said she had a punctured lung, needed surgery and $4k later, she'd be fine. I pleaded to see her but they refused to let us in the back and told us to wait in a room and they'd bring her to see us. I questioned the idea of jostling her around- they promised it was fine. I called a dear friend, a night owl - her dog once had a punctured lung. She assured me this was fixable and not to worry. But she paid $1400.\r We waited over an hour. Finally I stepped out & was snapped at to be patient. We waited almost 2 more so I went out and could find no one. I
