Review content:
Get Outdoors has a variety of water tours for anyone looking for a special outing, including night time tours of the stars and guided kayaking tours. All of my kayaking experiences were in the ocean so I was a little wary of kayaking in a river. It is completely different from ocean kayaking, but easier in most ways. The guides who sent us from the launch location were funny and interesting. The kayaks were nice and not beat up as might be expected from a rental. We went on a self-guided tour with a small group and the river was long enough to be enjoyable but not so long that it got boring or tiresome. The Get Outdoor store has a lot of quality rafting and kayaking equipment plus outdoorsman products that can be hard to find.
