Review content:
About 3 haircuts a year for the past 24 years means that I've had about 72 haircuts in my lifetime, which I think makes me an expert. This was by FAR the best!! I'd gone to Kenneth's before (read my review), where they treated me poorly and gave me a cut totally unsuitable for my thick, curly hair. I finally went to Lucky 13, based on the reviews I read on Citysearch, and couldn't be more pleased! Laid-back enough to make you feel completely welcome and trendy enough to make you feel like a movie star! I told Amity I wanted something different, and let her take over. She gave me a kick-ass cut that's 100% perfect for my personality and style. At only $21, I had enough leftover to give her a well-deserved tip. Bravo to Lucky 13 for rescuing my unmanageable hair, and double bravo to the women who work there. Forget about all the snooty chain salons who overcharge you and go to Lucky 13. I promise you'll feel like the luckiest person alive when you leave!
Pros: Welcoming, trendy, friendly, skilled, professional treatment, amazing deal!
Cons: Waited about 20 mins for walk-in b/c everyone else knows how great they are so it was crowded :)
