I have to echo what a few of these other posts have mentioned. It seems like the place has a lot of potential, and perhaps in the past was a nice place to buy beer, but the current management is terrible. I recently bought two kegs from K's for my wedding, each part of the transaction was a terrible experice. I ordered the kegs over the phone with the manager and asked to pay for them over the phone since one of my groomsmen would be picking them up. The manager rudely told would be very difficult, but eventually agreed. When the groomsman arrived and spoke with the same manager, he refused to use my credit card info as agreed to, and insisted my groomsman pay for it on a new card. Fortunately, my groomsman dealt with it and offered up his credit card to pay for it. He was concerned, though, about getting his deposit off his card since he lived in San Francisco and wouldn't be returning the kegs himself. The manager said it would be fine. But of course, when I returned the kegs and taps, it wasn't fine, and he refused to return the deposit on my groomsman's card because he wasn't there. Instead, he told me the groomsman would have to either come up to Seattle, or send a notarized letter asking for it. That would be enough, but it gets worse. When I said that was ridiculous, he got really upset, very rude and started screaming me and my wife, telling her to shut-up. He wouldn't even give me a copy of the receipt saying that we returned the keg and taps. Instead, he just tried to kick us out of the store and take my groomsman's deposit after we returned the keg and taps! In the end, he didn't even accept the notarized letter so my groomsmen is now fighting the credit card company to get his money back. His credit card will likely refund him, but that just means that manager successfully scammed $244. K's is not run by honest people. We ended up not losing any money, but I would hate for him to scam anyone else. Pros: Large selection of good beer Cons: Extremely rude service
