Todd and the kind gentlemen at TRM plumbing saved our lives!!! Well....maybe not our lives....but they rescued us from a very soggy situation!
Rewind to a leaky toilet and a prompt response from Todd to come out and fix it. Just the kindest and most helpful man, even giving us advice in how to cut our water bills and prevent further leaks.
Fast forward a month: I was about to take our cat Claire into the vet as she was in some kind of altercation which left her tail paralyzed and in need of amputation. I come downstairs to leave.....and found to my horror that our hot water tank was leaking all over the floor!! Panicked, I immediately called TRM and told them we had an emergency but had no idea how we were going to pay for it (the vet bill was going to be high!). The gentleman on the other end (Seth) calmly guided me through the water shut-off and said someone would be over within an hour. Actually, it was Seth himself who came--in less than an hour--and expertly snaked our garden hose from the tank to our back yard to avoid any further leakage and water damage. Todd showed up shortly after, assessed the situation, and had to give me the bad news that our water heater had given up the ghost (it was way overdue. The thing was installed in 1997!!) and would need a replacement. He gave me some options (tankless, etc.) and when I frantically told him I had no idea how we could afford it all (those poor guys! I was a wreck!), he eased my mind by offering to work with us on a payment plan. It took the rest of the day to install our new tank (works great, by the way), and thanks to TRM s flexibility we still had money left over for Claire's surgery!
We can't thank you guys enough!!
