I have been attending Helen's Dance Studio for 14 years and I can honestly say that it is the best dance studio out there. Ms. Helen not only acts as a teacher to her students but as a mother as well. She cares deeply for all of her students and does everything in her power to accommodate each and every one of them. I have yet to see a dance teacher who sets such a friendly, nonjudgmental, and family oriented environment and it is certainly a plus on top of the amazing dance skills she offers to her students. I started coming to her studio when i was two and a half years old, and now I am just a few months shy of turning 18. I have learned so much from Mrs. Helen and had so many wonderful experiences going to competitions nationwide as well as performing in annual concerts and other performances. Mrs. Helen's instructions have greatly helped me and made me a well trained dancer. Thanks to her I got accepted on to the Varsity dance team at my school and have won trophies in group as well as solo dances all in first place and gold. I also got the position of being Co- Assistant Director of my high school's dance team, and choreographed several dances for the department at my school. Not only have I learned to dance but I acquired leadership skills as well as confidence. I have even gotten my first volunteer experience here where she let me come to other classes with her and help assist her classes. She has taught me how to be patient with children and how the most effective way of teaching them would be, and I always tell her how amazed I am by her unconditional patience with all of the children. If any parent has been to the studio and has had any complaints I honestly believe it is because they wanted their child to be the number one, if not only priority for the teacher and to always be the ""favorite"" of the class. Unfortunately for those parents they went to the wrong place because this studios soley opperates on the child's dancing ability and willingness to learn and be an active participant of the class. I have personally recommended at least 10 students to this studio including my younger cousins who started when they were three years old. They both took an immediate liking to the studio much like all the other children who start at the studio, and they are always impatiently waiting to go to class and learn all that Mrs. Helen has to offer. This studio is definitely a second home to me as well as many other students and I absolutely recommend this studio to any parent who wants their child to learn how to become a graceful dancer as well as creating long lasting friendships with others in their class.
