I had selected this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. We live in Fremont but decied to go all the way to San Jose to try out a place we had never visited before. \r
When making reservations the person asked me if this was going to be a special event , and I did tell him the occasion that we were celebrating.\r
The reservations were for 6 people for 7pm. We were prompted seated, and that (unfortunately) was the only positive experience in an otherwise terrible evening.\r
We ordered calamari for appetizers, which was just slightly warn when it arived at the table, and the quantity was pathetic. \r
While waiting for our main course, I asked our waiter if they served bread; it was only when I asked did he bring bread to our table!\r
The king crab legs were cold (seemed as if it was barely defrosted), and our glasses of water were never refilled during the entire couse of our meal which was for about 90 minutes.\r
When ordering dessert, the waiter never mentioned anything about the occasion we were celebrating. It was only when I asked him if they did something special for birthdays did he say that the dessert for the birthday person was on the house...\r
For the kind of money they charge, I think they provide terrible value, and I would never visit this place again and nor would I recommend it to any friends.
