Let's face it...doctors are expensive even if you have insurance. And non-western medicine, well, most insurance plans are ethnocentric and don't make allowances for herbs and age-old remedies. SO, the National College of Naturopathic Medicine offers a series of residency-based clinics for the pubic! In addition to cheap ($10) appointments, medications are deeply discounted to clinic patients so you can not only afford the doctor, you can get the meds too (Maybe medicare should learn something from this model!) Here's the 411...so you don't need the 911: NATIONAL COLLEGE OF NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE Mt.
