Dr. Pelle is a god!! I have had cystic acne my whole life and no other dermatologist has been able to help me find any relief!! i have even tried accutane before, no help. \r

The first visit to Dr. Pelle, she looked at my skin, and said we aren't going to try any of those oral medications that you have in the past, they obviously don't work (unlike most doctors who want you to try everything before they start more aggressive treatment :) ). She started me on an androgen blocker, because she said it was apparent to her that my body was ""allergic"" to male hormones and the acne was a result of that.\r

That was almost 2 years ago, and my skin has never looked better. Within the first month my skin was clear, and cyst free!!\r

The other great thing is that she doesn't make you come in every 3 months to check on you, i have only been twice in 2 years, and she keeps refilling my perscription.\r
