Review content:
I strongly advise eating near Six Flags because the food here is terrible and overpriced (like as much as eating at a good chain restaurant) and there's not really a restaurant in sight around the perimeter. Otherwise, the shops are very good. You'll find brand names like Mikasa and Reebok.
The Village is not very walkable unless you want major exercise. It's a u-shaped strip mall with parking in the middle. But it is huge. There are like 100 stores here and each one is decent-sized.
What I like is how the stores have tons of merchandise and are very high end but still have good deals. I like getting samples at Le Gourmet Chef. I like looking at houseware markdowns at Conair. I even enjoy the Wedgwood-Waterford curios and china. The place is very fancy with a gorgeous facade.
Sales are prevalent; try coming on a sidewalk sale event and see how much you get for so little. If you live in New York, this place is really worth the while. There's no sales tax on clothes and everything else is taxed at only 6%.
Parking is not that bad if you come early but later it gets like a madhouse.
