This is our first message but we want to warn people about this company. We used DJay for my son's wedding this weekend and they were awful!! The equipment broke down (they said it was 8 minutes but it was more than that) and the owner had to come and repair it. By then, it really didn't matter anyway as most of the guests had already left out of boredom and it was only 8:30!! The DJ was unprofessional and did NOTHING to stimulate interest in dancing, she just played tunes, asked the bride questions and told the flower girl and ring bearer to go around to the tables and tell people to dance!! Excuse me, isn't that her job??? When she started to have ""technical difficulties"" she dialed the boss on her cell phone, gave it to a guest and told them to go outside, press TALK and tell the boss the equipment was broken and to come right away. It's a 1/2 hour drive! No interview with the couple to find out what kind of music they like and to get to know them and let them feel comfortable with the dj they were getting, they were just directed to fill in forms on the website! Then the owner blamed it all on the bride & groom for not preparing the ""timeline"" properly. Hello, they needed some guidance from the experts in the field, isn't that what we paid $1400 for? Yes, that's right $1400 dollars and they offer NO assistance with anything. Now we are hearing that this price is premium and most DJ services are lower. Highway robbery. They say in their contract that the balance is due after the dance but they called and demanded payment in full 2 days before the wedding. We had used this company for 2 previous weddings and were satisfied but things have changed! The ""light show"" is a JOKE, the ""professional' dj was even worse and the owner had excuses instead of answers. He even yelled at the bride instead of apologizing for the problems when he showed up to fix them . For the money, shop around and don't use this poor excuse for entertainment and professional business! Pros: Absolutely NONE Cons: Absolutely everything!
