Businiess name:  Goodfella's

Review content:
I've always found Goodfella's to be a little pricey for the quality of the food. This is the stereotypical ""italian"" american type menu which is fine..sometimes we all just want some eggplant parmigiana. however, they charge more than average for these very ordinary dishes and the portions aren't all that. I feel like this tyype of food should be family style or at least allow you to bring home leftovers. I'm used to Brooklyn Italian restaurants having plates that can feed at least two people. The last time i went (on Halloween) my dad's veal marsala was literally about 6 bites of super thin veal. My dad wasn't full and he does NOT have a big appetite. it's almost as if the food it's made for tourists even though i know it's not...Another issue is the service...the last time i was there, there were only THREE tables taken and yet the service was super slow and the waitress was not paying attention....they are always friendly but inattentive...and i'd rather have a waiter that will get my order RIGHT instead of chitchatting me all thru the meal and screwing up the order. Bonuses here are the garlic bread, and the fried calamari...as far as i'm concerned there is only ONE reason to go here and it's the chicken Goodfella's (i think that's the name)...it's a creamy garlicky sauce over penne with white wine and grilled chicken breast mixed in....that's the only unique dish and it's delicious. But honestly, they could do much much better especially for a place run by Italians in a largely Italian area Pros: Chicken Goodfellas, garlic bread, fried calamari Cons: Parking, BAD/SLOW service
