I went to this salon with the hope of finding a NYC style Dominican Salon -- the ones that specialize in CONDITIONING AND CARING for hair. I just moved here from the NY area where I went to a Dominican Salon. My hair was always healthy and shiny.
There were prices listed on the door. But after being asked if my hair was natural - which it is not - I was quoted a higher price. When I asked why, the owner said because that was her price. It went downhill from there. I honestly would have walked out but I had a dinner to go to. She was rude the entire time, AND, (the kicker) she was talking about her clients en espanol. She called me a b*tch!
And, she didn't do a great job. She's cash only. The area is sketchy. I couldn't wait to get out of there. When I left, I told her en espanol that I understand y hablo espanol. Yo se que dice...
Clearly, I would never go back and wouldn't send my worst enemy.
