I almost always shop at this particular Banana Republic and for the very first time in about 5 years, the customer service was horrible- to the point where I prefer to shop at another location like the Highland Village.
The employees of the Rice Village location have always been very friendly and helpful until this past week. I was so disgusted with the people that they are hiring, it's just sad that they would hire people who care more about them selves rather than helping out a customer. I know just a LITTLE about customer service (which is always #1) and they are now lacking that at the Rice Village location- very unfortunate.
The staff there seems to be completely different now, they pay more attention to the clothing than the customer. Actually, the lady helping me just this week was talking more about what she wanted to buy from the store than to ask me if the clothing was working out for me or if I needed assistance.
Also, when trying clothing on in the fitting rooms she never once asked me if I needed anything (which I did), she did not come back to check and see how everything fit, so I gave up on her!
I love this location, but if they keep hiring people like this I prefer to shop some where else.
Pros: usually nice employees
Cons: very unhelpful employees, selfish, lack of a lot!
